Inks contract with Texans
The Texans signed Adams to a reserve/future contract on Tuesday.
Analysis: Adams joined Houston's practice squad in early October after spending his first two years in the league with the Giants. A 2016 sixth-round pick, Adams has 24 receptions for 214 yards and a touchdown in 29 career games. He'll look to add depth to Houston's young tight end group in 2019.

Signed to Texans' practice squad
Adams inked a practice squad deal with the Texans on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis: A sixth-round pick in 2016, Adams contributed a bit with the Giants over the past couple seasons as a backup tight end. There's a chance he could be promoted to the active roster down the road, but for now, he will await an opportunity on the practice squad.
