Week-to-week with knee injury
Smith is considered week-to-week with a knee sprain, though the Eagles expect him back sooner than later, according to Bo Wulf of The Athletic.
Analysis: Smith suffered the injury Saturday and was held out of practice Monday. We might normally worry about a rookie falling behind and missing out on his chance to earn a role, but the Eagles don't have much else at wide receiver, and the other guys -- namely Jalen Reagor, Travis Fulgham and Quez Watkins -- also have been banged up during the early part of training camp. Nursing leg injury
Smith exited Saturday's practice with a leg injury, Reuben Frank of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Analysis: The rookie first-round pick remained on the sideline and watched the rest of practice after suffering the injury, so it appears to be a minor issue. The Eagles have Sunday off before returning to practice Monday, so Smith will have a day to recover before potentially missing additional practice time.
